This was my very first visit and I was blown away at how great the Audiologist, Scott McGrath is. He will treat you just like he has known you for a long time with a very friendly way about him. When I told him about my hearing problems and other problems that could affect my hearing he was immediately right up front with me on everything. He checked my ears & found some ear wax so he removed it first. I know- disgusting to have ear wax, he was prompt, removed the wax and showed me how much he found. Then he set me up for hearing test. He was fast and very accurate with everything I told him I had problems with. Then quickly he printed the results and showed them to me. The results showed exactly why I was having big trouble hearing higher voices, and that my hearing loss was moderate to severe with high voices. He already guessed that I really struggled hearing consonants which is also very true.

I initially dealt with the great people of Hearing Solutions when I needed a part for a hearing aid and was having trouble finding it in my area north of Phoenix. I drove all the way to the south side to get my part — and found out that they were only charging half what one other place wanted! I needed the same part for my other hearing aid six months later, and again Hearing Solutions had the part and quickly repaired my devise.
When it became apparent that I needed new hearing aids, I first went to Costco. I was not sure that the hearing aids they had would be best for me and, although the woman who took care of me did a professional job, I could feel that they were under a lot of pressure to get people in and out. I returned to Hearing Solutions. I had great insurance, so this was a wise choice.
Dr Scott McGrath was phenomenal! After my hearing test, I expressed what I was looking for. Although my insurance completely covered one model, I chose to spend a little out of my pocket to upgrade to something a bit better. There was absolutely no attempt on Dr. McGrath’s part to upsell me. I was fitted with two new hearing aids and came back a couple times to get a minor adjustment and for Dr. McGrath to make sure all was well. Additionally, Dr. McGrath reprogrammed my old hearing aids to serve as a backup. There was no rush at any of my appointments and I was able to have all my questions answered.
The office assistants at both Tempe and Mesa locations were excellent when I frantically needed help with my old hearing aids, and I am glad that one of them reminded me to come back when I needed new aids.

Dr. Mcgrath was very knowledgable and helpful in helping me select the correct hearing aids. He taught me how to wear them and set the sound to the correct level. On my followup visit he installed some features that greatly enhanced the hearing aids even to allowing me to adjust the volume and connect to my cellphone. I am very pleased.
